Silver Tea (March 29th)

The Silver Tea is a tradition formed by our Victory Committee in the 1960’s to help fund opportunities for their loved ones. They were a force of good and one of the pillars of our We are bringing it back in 2023 as we reminisce on 75 years of belonging.

As a bit of history, The Silver Tea was formed by families in our region to fundraise for vehicles to support transportation for children in need of therapies. Built on the idea of creating opportunities, The Silver Tea resonates today as Racker continues the mission of our founding families and building a world where all people know they belong.

The Purposes of the Victory Committee were as follows:

  • To engage in projects which will benefit The Special Children’s Center
  • To furnish volunteers
  • To raise funds for the benefit of The Special Children’s Center
